MORE GREAT FEEDBACK

Clientel Comments:

Principal

Hello Patricia:
Last year, we were intrigued with your email regarding the New Start series of books for struggling readers.

Although we do not usually order from an unsolicited email, we decided to try the series. We are extremely pleased with these books. Our students absolutely love going to the Resource Room to read them!

We have all six books in the Part 1 series. Is there a Part 2 series yet? We would be most interested in adding to our collection of these books!
Thank you,

Donna
Principal
Any idea when the second series might be available? Do you need a school to field-test them? We'd be glad to help out.

The Reading Network

Hi….I just had the opportunity to preview the six books in your New Start Suspense Series, and I can see where they would be a great reading resource for the adult literacy learners in our program. Could you please send me one set which contain the titles: The Swamp, The Old House, What a Day, The Junk Yard, The Trip, and At the Mall. Please invoice me.

Thanks,
Ellen Kildaw, Literacy Coordinator

Special Education Teacher

Dear Pat,
Just thought you'd like some feedback on your books. I am using them with
two students who are withdrawn for Language Arts daily. One has
Klinefelter's Syndrome and the other suffered a stroke as a toddler. Both
read at around gr. 3-4 level but are in 6th. They are enjoying them very
much. We are now in "The Old House" and will be reading Chapter 4 "The
Blood" by candle light! I have been going chapter by chapter, developing
a "Words to Know" list and short comprehension questions. I will take my
test at the end from these.
Thanks again,

Sincerely,
Nancy
